Keystone Park & Recreation Center has sports facilities, including basketball, tennis, and pickleball courts. There's also a playground and picnic shelters. The recreation center specializes in summer camps and after-school programs. The park features a veteran's memorial, and a walkway leads to the Austin Davis Library.

For water activities, Lake Dan Nature Preserve is a 1,100-acre preserve with two lakes and freshwater marshes. There's a 2.5-mile roundtrip hike around Lake Dan, plus a 5.6-mile equestrian trail. The preserve also features picnic areas amidst pine flatwoods and cypress swamps.

Numerous parks and trails cater to Odessa's equestrian community. Northwest Equestrian Trail is a trail and conservation park. The trail is horse and pedestrian-friendly. The natural setting provides a scenic atmosphere for horseback riding and hiking.
